What Is A Controlled Hunt?

Wildlife management groups conduct controlled hunts in an effort to restore the balance of plant and animal species in the preserve, and to maintain the native ecology of the forest. In other cases they may conduct a controlled hunt in areas that are not normally open to hunting. Participation is often determined by computer generated random drawings.
