Read what our happy guests think about the Wendel Museum of Animal Conservation.
The museum allows people to see what Animal Planet doesn’t show you, it doesn’t give facts about animals that you could go with out, but rather gives a person an up close and intimate search of each animal. The Museum gives people new insight on animals and their beauty, it gives them the opportunity to see animals and imagine places in the world that have yet to be industrialized. Here in the museum a person can see into a new view of the world. The things I had seen throughout out the evening had me feeling overjoyed that I was invited into this place where I was able to escape the United states, and jump into places around the world. I now understand more than I did before about animals and the civilizations that surrounded them. By the end of the night, I was almost saddened by the thought of leaving this beautiful place, but I knew that one day I would be back, to look at these beautiful creatures yet again. – Gabby Listek age 10
As a lifetime sportsman and outdoor enthusiast, I have never been more impressed by the endless variety species and level of craftsmanship that went into this beautifully designed room. I was left inspired to aide conservation efforts and show those in my life how important it is to protect or wildlife habitat sustain vitality for generations to come.
Shannon Meadors, Ducks Unlimited
Ducks Unlimited has held several events at the Wendel Museum of Animal Conservation ranging from small catered dinners of 6 people up to a cocktail party of 80 people for the Washington State DU Convention. Our members and guests always find it be an amazing location and one that sparks the interest of both the hunter and non-hunter alike. The conservation community is extremely lucky to have such a unique venue that can be used to educate, inspire and advance the important message of animal and habitat conservation.

We visited the museum on May 20, 2013. What a place! Inna and I both
were utterly amazed at the beauty of the displays and the manner in
which they are laid out. The animals seem to come alive. It is obvious
that Roger Wendel loves the animals he hunts. The care taken with the
taxidermy and the way they are displayed shows that this is so much
more than just a man who collects trophies. We recommend this museum
to anyone who loves wildlife. We spent an hour gazing at the displays
and we are looking forward to our next visit. We will bring friends
and family with us. It is difficult to believe that one man has done
so much. Again, what a place! We are so very glad a friend told us
about this hidden gem in Vancouver. If you are looking for a place to
spend some time and come away amazed, this is it…

I am truly impressed with the museum. It gives people and opportunity to see animals rarely seen by the general public. And, thank you for the annual donation of the museum for the Costal Conservation Association fund raiser,
Cody Steinmann ~ Pheasant Forever #716 Chapter President
We held our annual Pheasants Forever banquet at the Wendel Museum of Wildlife Conservation two years in a row. We could not ask for a more appropriate venue for our fund raising event for wildlife habitat conservation. The Museum had plenty of seating and room for the crowd to mingle. We had food catered without any issues. We will definitely be having future events there and would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique venue for their next event.

“WMAC is the most beautiful and educational display of wildlife that we have ever seen. Every piece of the collection is a work of art.”
